Yes, we had another great adventure and of course we will have again new challenges and Brazilian prices to win for our blog readers within the next weeks! Blog entries and photos coming soon...

Final challenge Far-East trip

With all our photos finally arranged on Picasa and the complete travel journal posted, we are still owing our readers a final challenge (and final prize) from our Far East trip.

This time, a little more difficult one (although nothing seems to be difficult enough for Gergo :-), or he just has tooo much time in the office)

The first person to comment on this post with the complete list different means of transportation we took (and documented on photos) during our 3-week-backpacking tour in Far-East, wins the prize.

Here's a map of our complete tour to help you refresh your memories:

The Game is open now and we have a magnet with the snow-capped peak of the Mt Everest as a present!
(note: we ship the present WW to the lucky winner)

Incrediable India, overview

If we had to describe India in one single word, we would probably say: Yes, this is really an "incredible" land. To sum up in a few words how you can fully enjoy India without losing your mind: "To fully enjoy it, you should not think". You can’t question things here and shouldn't let yourself get affected by the poverty or chaos all around ... you just have to accept that that’s the way it is, even if it makes no sense at all. You should see, take notice, but don't let it affect you to such a degree that you don't enjoy its beauty anymore. India is really like another world, and we are so glad that we had the chance to taste this amazingly intense, spiritual, contradictory and overwhelming country. India's people might be financially less wealthy than the "western world" but they are by no means poor, their culture and their religion is between the richest we've seen and India being the 35th country we visited, we have seen quite a  few!

Southern Caribbean Ports of Call

This has been way overdue, we're convinced you have been waiting very excited for the continuation of our Southern Caribbean cruise-story... with photos and reviews on our 5 Ports of Call:
So here you are, enjoy it! Click on our Caribbean Map (to see the entire itinerary...)

(Believe it or not, we have very good reasons for taking it so long for us: Krisztina had some long working days, whereas Zoli studying with all his efforts - and time - for his coming exam ... meantime visitors, a wedding dinner and Zoli's training in Strasbourg... and lots of snow in Switzerland this year, so we couldn't leave out skiing either :-))

For those participating at our Gulliver-quiz: thanks for playing and Gulliver is looking forward to hand over your prizes in Kolozsvar!

Dear lazy Reader, if you're just looking for a quick link to reach ALL our Caribbean Albums, click here.

Winter escape in Sunshine State

Hi all!
As briefly mentioned already in the previous post, we flew to Florida to spend the last days of 2009.
We first picked up our car, a Sebring convertible which according to the rental agency is a "Mustang or similar". Well I said it also has 4 wheels, but the similarities end there. Anyway even though as most US made cars it was made 99% from cheap plastic, it was fun having a convertible for a change.

Then we headed exploring Florida (see the linked map for the rest...best view fullscreen, press F11)

If you are getting tired of reading our boring stories again, simply jump to the pictures:
USA - FLORIDA

P.S. Hold on, another map and other, even more amazing pictures from our Caribbean cruise will follow shortly (I love these vague relative terms).
And don't forget: there will also be challenging quizzes with real prizes to win!

South - East Asia, the land of smiles

We decided that since this was a very special trip, we will make a special post on it. Instead of our usual blog entries (booooring...) we decided to let you explore SE Asia from our view on this map. (We hope you have large screens with high resolution.)

Obs. for the less computer nerds: you can click on the pushpins on the places we visited to experience them from our view (our camera's view anyway). Some of the routes we traveled (shown by lines) also contain entries. For some places you will need to zoom in close to see all pushpins!!! Best viewed in Full-Screen (press F11)

ATTENTION! GAME:
we have a game and we have a prize: the first person to comment (not email) on this post with the correct order of the pushpins on the map as we visited them, wins the prize. (which is a surprise present we brought home with us, and it's not the malaria).
SECOND GAME: the second game is hidden within the photos, the one to find it and answer it correctly (by posting a comment, no email) will win the second prize.

Have Fun.

BTW: view the pictures from Picasaweb.com and not .hu or .ro, etc. These do not have name tagging enabled yet :-(
